Today I blog about and reming myself of another wonderful wedding at the lovely Lythe Hill last year. I was very happy that Ross and Liv asked me to be their wedding photographer, as let’s face it – they’re not going to be breaking mirrors any time soon!
I think the below photo sums up the day – happiness and madness in one… and perfect confetti throwing I must add. Lythe Hill is an excellent venue and I would fully recommend it – the grounds are extensive and photogenic and I remember the food going down very nicely. As you’ll see from the photos of their first dance, there is an amazing glass roof in the main room used for the wedding breakfast and evening celebration. This means a load of natural light when the sun’s up (sadly a rarity for wedding venues) and it also provided the first opportunity to capture a sunset in the first dance.
The speeches were genuinely entertaining, they are both madly in love and they helped make some great shots at dusk with a bit of creative lighting and jumping. They are the kind of couple you dream to photograph as you can let them be themselves and their natural emotions create photos that I simply have to be in the right place to capture. Being a Lythe Hill wedding photographer was a pleasure – I look forward to returning soon!
